Oregano Baked Chicken

Man do we hate losing weight… Why couldn’t pizza, burgers, and steaks be good for us?!?! It’s like God is playing some sick joke on us. Needless to say, I need to lose a few pounds and this baked chicken recipe is actually delicious! Chicken and veggies a few times a week and I start dropping the pounds.

Servings: 2

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 16-18 minutes


2 medium sized chicken breasts (about 1 lbs)

1 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp thyme

2 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tbsp olive oil


Preheat oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit

Sprinkle the chicken breasts on all sides with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme. Coat with olive oil.

Line a cookie sheet or tray with aluminum foil and lightly coat with olive oil or cooking spray. Place chicken breasts on tray and place in oven for 16-18 minutes or until internal temperature reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit using an instant read thermometer.

Serve with steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, or a salad. Enjoy!
